Print

The program goal is to provide a team with the necessary knowledge, training, and guidance in implementing Scrum development process. In under 3 months we expect teams undergoing this program to increase their productivity, focus and cooperation. The program covers all aspects of the company at the various levels and will supply each stake holder with the necessary tools and guidelines to fit into the Scrum process.

The Implementation program consists of the following stages

Stage one - Investigation - 1 week

Implementing a Scrum process is initiated in order to improve on crucial business aspects. This involves significant organizational changes and requires support from the highest levels. Before starting such a process it is advised that the goals and targets of the transition will be clearly defined. In the investigation we shall work with management to define the specific needs from the Implementation while starting to create the necessary mindset to absorb the change.

Stage Two - Training & Preparations - 2 weeks

This phase creates the required environment within the organization to undergo the shift into the Scrum Process. During which the necessary training, guidance and support will be given to the team.

Preparation for the change will include:

·       Identifying and choosing of the Scrum Roles.

·       Scrum training for all the team members.

·       Creation of the Product backlog

·       Release planning.

At the end of the preparation stage the entire organization will be geared up with the necessary knowledge and tools to shift into an iterative process cycle embodied with in the Scrum sprints.

Stage three – Sprint - 8 weeks

Practical experience is the only way to guarantee implantation success. During this phase the team will start working in time boxed sprints, and will learn the rhythm and flow of the actual Scrum process. During this phase, which typically last 3-4 sprints, we shall support the team by guiding and directing all the Scrum Ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily scrum, Sprint Review and retrospect), and by supplying ongoing advice (by phone, email or onsite) for resolving all emerging conflicts and queries.

Stage four - Review & Improvement- 1 week

A typical Scrum transition will surface organizational dysfunctions and it does so very quickly. In order to improve and resolve these dysfunctions, we use agile principles and scrum techniques adapted into the context of the organization. At the end of the program we shall conduct a full review by an experienced Scrum Coach in order locate and suggest ways how to resolve these dysfunctions, without damaging the overall goals of the transition.
